i had a slight issue with stock coils/wires and i replaced both with stinks upgraded coils and his wires. they work great. but had 2 points on the coils black and partially melted so definitely an issue.

i take the simple solution i park it in the winter and tell the wife hey i am taking your avalanche let it get eat up by the salt and sand and far less problems on snow and ice lol

they are not for the side exhaust i tried you can get just mufflers but not the tuned mufflers like the side kit has

the side exhaust was like 2k dollars last time i checked reason i havent done it yet i know i want to do the side exhausts though

if you are talking the viper side exhaust ones the only way i have found in the past 5 years is buying the entire kit.

also when it rains i know i have the issue causes belt slip water drips down on it from the hood scoop opening i think since my driveway has a slight incline just another thought :)

hell last year i waited 1 day to long to put my truck in the garage and we got 3 inches of snow with a nasty wind took 3 of us pushing and it in gear to get it into garage due to slight incline on drive way lol i tried pulling it in and just kept sliding backwards lol. reason mine gets parked...
