Tony, I haven't tried that. I thought it would probably be futile because of the bolt going thru the handle into the base. I just figured the bolt would still transfer the noise. If you have tried it and it helped I am more than willing to give it a try. thanlks Mark

For sale very few miles . shifts great ! I just can't take the harmonics. Reinstalling the stock Hurst . Will miss the crisp shifts ! First 500 takes it.

As I have one on order from boomer now, Rick please tell us your issues with the shifter. I have driven devildogs truck with it and I ordered one immediately.This being said, I have only experienced it for a few minutes and if there are problems other than harmonics I would certainly like to know.
