Mine sounds the same at idle but with the hi-flo cats, I don't get that zingy sound when you punch the throttle, more of a deeper bass sound. I am very happy with mine!

After I installed my belanger headers (Hi-Flo cats with Magnaflow catback) I had the same problem, after a few long conversations about acoustic and performance exhausts I switched out the magnaflow to a Mopar/Borla Catback and pretty much solved the problem.
