Consignment shops have worked for me. There is a commission but they typically raise the selling price to dealership levels which covers the commission. If you find a good one that doesn't have storage fees then even if the truck doesn't sell at least it is advertised and stored somewhere...
Would the Fidanza aluminum flywheel be an improvement? I know it saves weight but if you are drag racing don't you want the extra reciprocating weight on a heavy truck to help with the launch. A heavier flywheel will also lower your RPMs between shifts in the event that you are a shitty slow...
Greg, [rub on the lantern] for my third wish I would like to know what makes the Gen IV heads flow so much better than the earlier stock heads. Is it a raised intake runner? Bigger chambers? Better chamber shape?
I have seen the flow numbers on Trainman's set that you ported, I have had a...
Thanks for the info Greg. Since you are allowing us to pick your brain I am going to take seconds. I understand the affects that creating a swirl have but is texturing or dimpling the chamber surface affective in these engines? I had heard that it aids in atomization but the last time I saw...
I am curious. It says it is a wet flow test so I am assuming wherever the red dye is marks the low airflow areas. Is what we are seeing good or bad and how does it all relate to cfm versus air quality? Are wet flow tests ever run with valves installed and set at max lift range to see how...
How about a button hidden in the shifter. You could use a second toggle switch in the ashtray to arm the button whenever you thought you might be using it and activate the line lock with the button.

Late 60's muscle cars have almost 40 years on our trucks. They weren't worth anything in the late 70s when they were only 10 years old either. Give it another 30 years and someone's stock low mileage SRT-10 will be worth a lot more than it was originally priced.
The intake plenum below the supercharger is only a couple inches deep because of the placement of the ignition coils so in order to place an intercooler large enough to do any good you either have to move the coils and knock sensors and go downward or raise the supercharger up and have clearance...
I like this idea. Maybe a copper or gold colored wheel. I don't know if it can be done on our wheels but they have a machined surface that has tinted clear painted over it that looks really good.
