I just bought an 05 QC for $32k with 1800 miles. Watched one sell for $29k with 1300 miles. I also know of a black 05 QC still on MSO that went for $39k. None of these were special / limited edition trucks. I think his price is just fine.

They just totaled my black 2005 QC w/ 24,000 miles for $27,300. If your has the factory tonneau and is perfect, that should be pretty close to it's value. If you don't have the tonneau, -$2000. Just FYI.

Just updated my post to clarify. The rest of the truck is going to salvage auction. I can put anyone interested in purchasing the whole truck in touch with the adjuster. Just shoot me a PM. Steve

Well on Thursday I spoke with the appraiser who said it is a total loss. I still have not heard from the adjuster, for confirmation. I'm going to take my aftermarket items off the truck. I'll probably reuse most of them. I will have a tonneau cover and wing with mounting brackets available...

Awaiting word on wheter they will repair or total. Should know Wednesday. I've received a few PMs from folks interested in parts. The right side of the truck is pretty much toast, nothing worth while. The front, rear, and left side are flawless. Perfect interior and no engine bay damage...

Good point on the weight distribution bars. I'll have to check them out. Same with the hitch. Some real forces whippin that trailer around loaded down with the car!

No on the tires. Woman in a mini van decided to make a u turn from a driveway while I was passing by. She claims she didn't see me (I'm kinda hard to miss). She hit the passenger door, slid down the side of the truck until she hit the wider trailer. That sent us into a spin which blew out...

Not sure about the frame. It dropped the drive shaft and when I tried to put it in gear, it just grinds so the trans is shot too. Here is the trailer... Fortunately, the viper I was hauling made it through without a scratch. 2 out of three is still better than 3 out of 3!

Repairable or not? Not a very good week! Needs a rear end, drive shaft, transmission and god only knows what else...

I put an RB1 in my truck to replace the 6 disk changer (wanted NAV). Sometimes when I start it, no sound. The radio is on and everything appears to be functioning, just no sound. If I turn off the truck and restart, I get sound? Thanks in advance, Baffled

Ditto here after a hard rain. I usually stop the truck, turn it off, then back on again and the problem goes away. Sounds like I'll be looking for a new belt next time I'm at the parts store.

What is a set of stock power mirrors worth these days, (2005) like new?

If its not going to be your daily driver check out Haggerty. I was surprised how affordable the insurance was.

I've got to replace my right front fog light. Any suggestions or tips. Do the bolts run in from the front or back? Thanks in advance. Steve
