Well…. The 24s had to go. Besides riding like a hard tail concrete truck, they were eating up the inner fender liners. Dropped down to a 20” wheel. 8” wide on front, 10” wide on rear. Had to use 1/4” spacers on the front to clear calipers. Neither the front nor the rear stick out past the wheel...

That does look good. I’m an old school muscle car/truck guy. I love the sidewall. I’ve never been a big fan of huge wheels with little sidewall.

I do agree. Dodge got the wheels right. One of the few wheels that look good on a stock vehicle. If I could find the black with machined face in a 20”/22” I would stick with them. If I go that route I would sell these 24s, but if I go with something different I’ll keep the 24s to maintain this...

I know exactly how you feel. Been doing a remod on a house since August of 25. Completely gutted the kitchen, and both bathrooms. I never thought the kitchen was going to end lol. Looks awesome btw. Great work.

I’ve got an 06 RC, it came with 24s. They rub like no other. Mostly at full lock when turning, but they rub more than I like. The RF has already torn the brake duct loose so now I have to fix that. I found a bone stock 05 same miles for $2k less…. With the mods done on this one I would rather pay the extra $2k

Oil changed, filter, air filter, washed, dryed with a shammy. Looks a ton better. I think the wheels are growing on me though. SRT style always liked the look of them. I feel like a teenager again driving it.

It’s under way. Fresh oil and filter change, new air filter, wash and most likely a waxing.

It’s pretty cool learning this much about the history of this truck. It’s rare to have this much on a used vehicle. I just sold a 22 ram 2500 that had airbag deployment after 2 years of ownership. I was going to trade it on another truck but the dealer didn’t want it because of the history…...

I’ll prolly de-badge it, they are faded and worn. I’ll keep them though. I would like to put the SRT/500HP decals back on the rear of the bed though. Other than smaller wheels in the distant future, and maybe some minor things I find along the way. I’m not going to change it much.
