Like I said these will clean up JUST fine- he will be porting and polishing the heads- might as well polish the chambers and cc them as well and they will clean up for this perfectly. I'll take some photos- anyhow- I did have my machine shop tell me they were perfect for this also....

You will need the hyd. upgrade- the southbend clutch rocks. it is 300% more clamping over stock. It was the best upgrade to my Vipertruck.

That car needs the correct corbin style hose clamps, correct battery clamps and the negative cable was attached to the engine when it was shot with paint so the cable should have visable orange paint approx. 6" from the engine lead. Lose the headers and get the repro or if you can score them...

Which set ? I have 2 sets....one will have to get milled slightly as these are the ones on the engine when it the rods let go- some debris went through and the chambers would need a clean up pass. The others are perfect with about 5K from what I was told when I bought them off a member here....

The factory manifold I found is a rare 2 year production manifold for the wide blocks....:D
