I know this has been asked many times but I can't find any pictures or a write up. Can someone please point me in the right direction? I got the rear portion of the console bolted into my 05 QC but not sure if I have to cut the ashtray out or what's next. Thank you.
Over the summer...shop just called and said it's not the bearings. He also said I need new tierods and an upper ball joint but none of that is causing the noise, right?
Yea I was thinking the same thing...thanks for the quick reply. I'm out of town so hopefully I can find a shop to fix it tomorrow. Highly doubt it though since it's Sunday.
Just noticed tonight when I turn the wheel to the right I here a constant thumping noise...even if the wheel is only slightly turned. As the night went on the noise became more constant. I think it quiets when I hit the brakes but not really sure. Is it the bearings, brakes, or maybe...
I have to say I was initially worried about driving it so much but I can't stay out of it. I'll admit it makes the drive from St. Louis to Indianapolis a lot better every weekend.
37K the last 2 yrs and still running strong. Continues to burn oil but from everything I've read that's normal. Thanks to everyone who continues to answer all questions when issues come up.
Had the cladding on my QC painted. Took it on a road trip this weekend and yes one blew off. Does anyone know where I can get the small piece right behind the passenger rear door? Thanks!
