Hate to say it but bubbles in the radiator or over flow bottle is usually a bad head gasket. Depending on how hot the engine got & how many times will determine how much collateral damage you may find.

Most guys usually paint them on. You can also check around your area for a vynal shop that does car/truck wraps. That would be a less permanent in case you ever want to remove it.
