Question for you smart ones....
Why hasnt anyone made a separate oil cooler?
Bypass the stock one that has the coolant running through it?
Add one into the bumper grill area with a lil electric fan n switch?

Take it back to the engine replacement installer.
Have them give u a total written break down of what they are going to do.
A written results.
Go from there...
I think gmperformanceparts.com has the best pricing on Crate GM motors.
I would go with the EFI version of the 572.
Ive heard of a lot of powerboat guys using these motors. Some rework them just a bit and add EFI to get 750HP n 750T at about $20K

Gutting it would not be a problem.
The problem comes it gettting it all signed off again. U gottah have a contractors liscense. AND probably have to have each step signed off on.
