Not sure yet, will send an email to Tony and JRI. i bought them used, not blaming the previous owner as i know he really takes good care of his car and truck. It was installed as it should be and in the end its just a kicker shock.... (Very expensive one btw) Lets see what the reply...

I have a set on my CE, havent driven it yet but i was a little disappointed as the 5th shock has rust on the shaft..... Not just surface rust but really deep rusted spots. Never had that on QA1 shocks.

I cant see any reason why not to use V8 lowering springs. Hemi V8 weighs 590 lbs, Viper V10 500 lbs, considering the larger breaks and maybe some other components they should be equal in weight on the front. Maybe someone else will give better reasons to use specially made springs....:D
