When I bought mine, the scoop was broke, cracked down the center, and the honeycomb part was missing the nuts , so it’s basically hot glued on, I had the dealer order one and they never did, “they are on back order “ , I tried giving them a direct connect to where to find them and now the truck...

As long as you get the kit , it should be easy , I have always done my own swaps, although the prior owner to mine had already swapped the deck and cut the wires to the infinity amp, so I had a stereo place install mine , bypass the the amp and installed a 5 channel pioneer

I also put all Rockford door speakers, back panels and dash !

I replaced the aftermarket deck that was in mine, added a 5 channel amp and put 2 pioneer subs in it, than I ran the infinity sub(which I ordered) in series with the other 2, only because the prior owner had removed it, than the stock infinity amp would get super hot but it was not putting power...

Well that’s what he said yesterday, the coil failure shut down the 5 cylinders and caused a back pressure issue causing the dipstick to pop out, anyway I didn’t get around to calling today been super busy at work from 5-5 so tomorrow for sure
