Neither Dan or Andy come on the forum anymore. I'm great friends with both of them. I have an inferno red cover I've thought about selling. It does need painted though and I could have that done if need be.
Great to see old members post!!
I ended up with eddies black truck several years back. I picked it up from Tony's place. Got it running and planned to build it but couldn't make myself spend the $$. I sold the truck to an old member here and he took the built motor and has since sold the truck...
Jeff I emailed for information on this truck after I got it but you had already stopped doing the registry. You did give me the information on the flame red 06 I had several years back.
The super low mile trucks still bring the most $$$ VCA ,CE, YF, NR and the rare 06 models will always bring good $$$! The values are up and down but for the most part these trucks hold value strong. I've been buying/selling them almost 20 years now and have loved every minute of it!
I've never posted it here since I started visiting the forum again. IMHO this is the rarest of all the SRT trucks! This truck took me years to scope out and an additional 3 to talk the owner out of selling. This is a 1 0f 6 Bright Silver Metallic 2006 regular cabs! This one is the ONLY one that...
Yes, I have an 04 auto that was done at my shop. All factory parts from an 05 QC! It is my ''shop truck'' A fellow old member here helped me with the 3d printed cup holder!
I've torn down more of these than I can count and never seen a oil pump gear failure like that! Most common failures I see are spun bearings (from low oil level) or dropped valve seats. Boundary does make a nice set of aftermarket oil pump gears though!
Like Jim said. First step is does it have any codes and if so what are they? Just by reading that I'd say check your grounds. Also, these trucks are know for harness damage on the passenger side right where the harness comes up by the manifold. Make sure its tied up and not touching!
Yes, I believe its the same truck. Supposedly it was a QC made into a RC. Long story but the frame had some horrible welds where it was put back together. I have pictures on my phone still i believe.
I just built an 04 RC with an auto. Lets just say its not an easy swap. Luckily I had parts from a previous QC that had been 6 speed swapped. Where is this truck located? I can recall a silver RC that had an auto for sale awhile back. It was definitely a hack job!!
