Now that's a load of $hit! You should not have had to pay for that if you did not cause the blown fuse. The tech was an idiot for not checking the fuse in the first place, he just guessed at the problem and threw parts at it.

That's asking to blow the motor up. You only need to miss the shift once with the juice flowing :( Hitting the rev-limiter on the juice is not good. IMO power/speed shifting my be fun to do, but you gain little to nothing. I never felt it was worth the risk of missing the shift or breaking...

Yes. Just be aware that the signal from that wire is a 2 cylinder tach signal not a 10 cylinder signal.

The drivers side O2 signal wire is dark blue with light blue tracer. The pass side is dark blue with light green.

Good thought but that's not the problem. The front O2's are for the PCM to adjust the A/F with, you NEVER want to use sims in the front locations. The rear O2's are for only monitoring the efficiency of the cats. The rears have absolutely no effect on the A/F of the engine. BTW, I never...

I would try what Red suggested and swap the 2 front O2 sensors (if the connectors are the same). Also look at the spark plugs on the passenger side. Something else that has a horrible smell when burnt is coolant and it will be white smoke :(
