Yeah, we have one of those over-the-top creepers at the shop too. Makes things much easier. Just don't drop the ladder on your toes when you try to adjust the height. :o :argh:;) It takes a few extensions and swivels (IIRC) to R/R a couple of the plugs. So, it's not tough... you just have to...

You could take a fan or two with you. We use these at the shop: Buy.com - Stanley 655702 High Velocity Blower Fan You'd be surprised how fast one or two of these will cool off a engine bay. About 15-20mins with some air flowing would be fine.... even with a cheap-o Box Fan from Lowes. :)

I agree. I would show up a couple hours early and find someplace to chill for a bit while the truck cools down. Then quick pull her in the bay when the clock starts.

Here are the part numbers: 5JR39TZZAC Left side Rear Fascia 5JR38TZZAC Right side rear Fascia 5JR41TZZAC Center Rear Fascia ....... Although, that should be a fairly easy (read: CHEAP) fix for any body shop. :dontknow: Most of that white "scuff" will buff out (no horseshit).

It's called the bumper cover or bumper fascia. Damn, that sucks, brotha Welsh. WTF did he turn off his sensors??? The mfker OBVIOUSLY can't do it on his own!!! :mad::dontknow::(:o

They are turbocharged... Just above "mediocre" stock. But, they can be fairly nasty with mild bolt-ons. :o

Bet it's faster than the truck too.... :D

For the record.... Earl's (Brat's) truck is thee cleanest QC on this site. Plus, he has enough spare parts to build a whole other truck. :D

Yep, I went through two engines in my Lightning (in 25000 miles)... same noise. :( Never raced it either. Luckily, they were both replaced under warranty. On the 3rd engine, I said F*CK IT!!!! I put every bolt-on I could find on it. Had it at about 504RWHP. Damn thing ran like a top. 15,000 HARD...
