Freon level is easy to check. I would bet it is the door issue.

Normal is about 430 rwhp...some go higher...some a little lower but not much...I presume you have a quad cab. Mine was 479 rwhp stock, its an RC...now pushes about 685. Stay where you are and enjoy it!
