It should be at least warm to hot, not cold. I do it warm, which is plenty sufficient, so as not to burn myself.

took mine off and had a guy does it that does airbrushing do it. Charged about $40 and it has held up great for 5yrs. which has only been about 5k miles though.

My '05 did not come with a factory cover, but all needed holes were there with factory threaded inserts ready for bolts and when I found a cover it bolted right in, no problems. Looks like that one hole has been stripped out or removed.

This is why I sometimes get 2 of things like this. One to keep MIB and the other to take out and display. Or could use 2nd for paint/modify, play, etc.

The maisto diecast 1/34 scale were available in red and black and the 1/24 Plastic Transformer versions were available in red (optimus Prime) and Black (Nemesis Prime). I believe they can still be found on Ebay for $20-40+, especially the Transformers. And then their are the one's pictured above...

Yes, it wires into the power door locks. They also have ones that are manual with a seperate key.

Their is or was a few years ago, one by Pop n' Lock. You can also get a replacement tailgate handle w/a manual key lock in it.
