Had the same prob on mine and seat had been moved very little. Was only about 5k on it and was still under warranty, so got fixed that way. Not sure exactly what was the prob, but I believe they replaced whole motor. It ran, I assume part of it broke and said part was prob some cheapo plastic piece.
Got a Crafstman too, not sure of tonnage w/o going and looking, but it's about 3. The red/silver aluminum one that is a lower profile and works great, fits under front bumper no prob.
Only prob I had with mine was getting the scoop adjusted just right. It was quite difficult to get it lined up with the hood opening and to not interfere with the inside edges of hood scoop or the top of hood when opening and closing.
I have one that I ordered from some aftermarket access. catalogs at autozone and it looks exactly like the stocker, except it's a few inches shorter, it's black and it works great as well as looking tons better.
Thanks! Shouldn't be a problem, I didn't actually watch that one yet. wanted to see them in order if you had them available. so was waiting to see if you did before watching it. I'l check 'em out a little later.
Not sure, others will prob give more info soon, but if that's the hitch we would get here in the states, I you shouldn't have to drill a hole in the bumper cover. just the metal part of bumper underneath it.
