Cool. Reason i asked is because i have a 90 cherokee and did not pass emissions. I read on an article that if i added a bottle of HEET (water dryer) to about 1/4 tank, it would help pass because it burns much cleaner than gas. Well i tried it and passed. I was skeptical about it so the following...

Would acetone be tha same thing as that water dryer stuff?

LOL...yeah i know but i've only had it installed douring the cold months which the temp was high 70s low 80s...;) Im hoping the temp on the truck dont up too high with the summer coming. And some one needs to jump on this PCM...Makes a hell of a difference and its only a 12 beer job to...

Really?? I put the same thing in mine (pcm & 170 t-stat) and didnt do anything to the temp. Did i miss something?

What he said. I had a 97 Dakota also. You can adjust the torsion bars. You may need a 7/8 socket and an impact gun. You can use muscle but you'll be there for a while.
