Its definately a grey area - I was aware that some companies had licences to do conversions on older cars - but like you said some have limited licences. which guy is this? Ram trucks Australia? I do know that its a different system, not RAWLS and its a little more complicated but your guy...

i think so - there are a few down here!! but i havnt been able to catch any owners ears yet!

Just remember mate that under RAWLS you cant import a second hand vehicle for compliance any more, i believe you can if its a personal import through a different system but as you are probably aware this issue is very complicated. I couldnt have more than 20km on my truck when i imported it...

most portable gps systems in australia have know speed camera and radar locations inbuilt so they warn you about upcoming pigs.... works well, especially down south where the fines are huge.
