Very true! The spacers used to mount the head unit to the plate can be a SOB to get back into place. I put a dab of Blue loctite on the spacers after this happened to me, so far so good they have stayed in place since.

Yes, take the plate off to install the new belt. I have a printed out belt diagram that I carry in the glove box to help with the routing. For boost you can tap into the line coming out of the rear firewall going into your master slave. I'll see if I have pic when I get home.
