New NA ET Record at Famoso 5-13-11

Great Runs. I can tell you that my local track has next to no track prep on test and tune nights. I will have to go on a day when there is racing with the test and tune if I want to get better 60' times.

    Tailgate Weight vs Air Restriction

Thanks for the input. Trainman, I am very aware of your great results. It is your results that have convinced me to remove my spare this year. While I understand that the spare is free weight, I thought that the tailgate may increase the drag if removed thereby negating the weight...

    Tailgate Weight vs Air Restriction

I saw a thread about accurate weights and removing them for the race benefits. That made me question the weight vs air restriction benefits. Mythbusters proved that the tailgate up was more aerodynamic than down. Does the turbulence from the gate being off outweigh the weight reduction? Does...

    Catch Cans, PCV?

Good Dan, thanks for asking. Doin a few things with the truck to get ready for summer. I am looking to add a catch can as I am tired of the oil film that is building up under the hood from the filters I added to the valve covers. I am trying to decide if I want a packaged unit or to build my...

    Catch Cans, PCV?

I understand what a catch can does. I think I understand that it is installed off of the the valve cover hose connectors. Is that correct? What is the PCv valve? Where is it? Does that tie in to the catch can? Should an oil separator...

    P0141 Code

Thank You. I am using the JMB spacer for my rear O2 Sensors. I will clear the code and see what happens. If it is bad, I will have to think about weather to replace it or dissable it.

    P0141 Code

P0141-O2 SENSOR 1/2 HEATER FAILURE - SRT10 So I got the above code today. I am not sure if it is related to my belt slip due to rain or not. When I started my truck I did not have the alternator for about 30 seconds as it took a while for the belt to quit slipping and squealing due to...

    1 Year

My girls and I did just that today. We were cruising in the truck (5 of us) when a restored older mustang did a nice little rev-up and go beside us. He then slowed down and urged us to give him a small show. At first I thought he was trying to bait us to race, but he was actually just wanting...

    1 Year

Yesterday marked the 1 year of Cancer Free. My family and I went out and had a great dinner to celebrate. So much has changed in my life to get back to this point. I feel much better physically. I have my old job back. And I now have a family to share it all with.
