I like the looks of the tire but, FIRESTONE, just could not do it to myself.
I have seen too many Fireaparts come apart with catastrophic consequences.
The level of performance just increases at a terrific pace.
What was fast 5-10 years ago is just hohum today.
Technology and skill just keep ramping up at a very fast pace.

I had an intermitant misfire on the silver truck when it was almost new.
It would drive the wide band O2 sensor on that side crazy, it would swing from lean to rich constantly.

The Viper motor sounds like a 6 cyl Corvair.
Not one of the best sounds in the performance world.
I have electric cutouts on the red truck and they are kinda cool
The polished or chromed intakes look good for sure.
The situation with "heat soak" would come into play after you shut down the motor and let it sit for 5-10 minutes.
"Heat soak" will be worse with a polished or chromed manifold.
Unless you are going after big HP I would not worry about heat...

Hughes out of Phoenix makes a great 3 stage lock up converter that the Dodge diesel guys have had a lot of success with.
I don't know if it would work with your project but I have dealt with Hughes and they have been straight up with their information and advice, service is on time also.
