With just a rear cat delete and a sct tune the truck will feel like a beast. Traction will be a problem. The '05 you test drove might have had old or bad gas in it. The '05 and '06's have knock sensors that will pull back timing. The weather does play a big part in performance also.

Yea I read the whole thread! It says your going to forge the whole engine. Then you post that the machine shop says it only needs pistons. So wtf?
