Ok, so a friend of mine is looking at a car purchase by end of this month....at first, she wanted a used BMW or Infiniti......small sedan....something that could carry 4 people, comfortable, stylish, and reliable.....we were looking at 2-3 year old CPO vehicles and found a number of good options...

In terms of real life examples, here is what I have.... Have seen a number of posts here on towing with RC's......people pulling car trailers and an auto, about 5k pounds....they say you have to be smart, but you can do it without issue.... I NEVER towed with my RC and never would...

LOL.....to make that comment at 19, you are wise beyond your years...:D If ya don't mind, what will you be pulling and at what distance? With the high gearing, I'm worried that frequent towing might lead to issues over time....

IMHO, take $5k, buy an old 01 Ram 2500 with a gasser, and use it for your towing/parts/runaround truck.....the V10 or 5.9 should be plenty, be cheap, reliable, and easy to work on......would not pull 6000 pounds twice a month with a single cab 10, but that is just me....

Good point here, it's all relative....if you are used to toys that have the same HP as the 10, but only have half the weight, it will feel slow.....if you typically drive stock trucks or lesser sports cars, it will blow your doors off.....it is by far the most fun for your buck in it's current...
