Latest update. I got my front suspension in from Scott's Hot Rod Shop. They did a great job custom building it to fit the Dodge Chassis and my custom spindles.
I just ordered my harness and ECU ( they are flashing mine ) from Hotwire Auto. They do a great job, I bought my Hemi harness and ECU from them a few years ago.
Awesome build, maybe we can exchange notes, I'm building a 67 D100 with a 05 8.3L. Looks like you are further along than I am, I'm just picking up parts right now. What are you planning on using for engine management?
I had the same problem with my build. I decided to use a Mustang 2 style front suspension and I designed up my own spindles so I can use the SRT wheels and brakes. It, not the cheapest way to go, but it should allow me to get the front nice and low.
That's why I decided to use my 67 frame instead of the SRT frame. I would section the fenders a couple inches, (cut them down the middle lengthwise, then add in a 2-3" filler piece.)
Not alot happening. I had the rear narrowed 6", and I'm having a set of custom spindles machined. They will allow me to use the SRT big brakes with an aftermarket mustang two type front suspension.
