    Swapping O2 Sensors

does it make sense to swap left/right upstream sensors? the point is: I have to extend both sensors, but right one is longer and could fit left side, so I could just extend the wires of one of them I'll solder the wires of course, I'm not going to use any crimp connector the serial...

    Going to install headers...

oh, thanks I'll beat again... what about heating the pipes? but it will expand the mids as well and wrap the starter as well, I have a lot of wrapping plus that kevlar like tape I got in UK, it's meant to protect from hight temp, not contact though

    Going to install headers...

I wrapped some ceramic thing on the starter cable... things left to do: - extending sensor wires (easy) - put back the inner fenders (easy), I'll do that after a test run to inspect for leaks - stick the magnaflow muffler into the mid pipes (PIA) I got the mids into the muffler...

Thanks for the tip Ironhead Driver's side is done as well, still need to torque 3 bolts and reinstall all the stuff I removed so is the ceramic boot meant for the steering linkage? anyway I'll wrap all the stuff with low clearance with some heat shield tape and I still have some...

    O2 Sensor

well it's a matter of resistance per length something like Ohm/Ft (i think) generally speaking if you add a foot of wire you won't introduce so much resistance to vary the readings, if there's something particular on these trucks it's another story and any aftermarket extender will introduce...

    Going to install headers...

some tips so far: - don't waste time and WD40 on manifold bolts: the thread is so far the head and the WD doesn't even reach the head - i put some tape on the gasket to hold in place while positioning the header: don't forget to remove it before tightening the bolts - the retainers of...

    Going to install headers...

upstream sensor cable is short I read a lot of threads baout that, I thought it was only the downstream to be extended which I don't need because I have SCT programmed to ignore them passenger side connector is a PIA to reach!
