Oh yeah...one more thing. They fit right in, no modifications required. That was a huge plus for me. I'm no mechanic and if you can't fix it with a multitool and a swiss army knife then it is above my skill level. :D

Just put on my new centric pads from zeckhausen as well. 3 days and no dust. They are a winner in my book. Pedal feel is a little different, not as much initial bite, but still awesome brake action. Definitely would recommend these pads. :rock:

Sorry I missed this part of the post.....they are $70 for the fronts, and iirc 40 for the rear. Good shipping prices as well. I just ordered the front ones, probably will kick myself for not getting the rears, but my rear pads don't dust very much. ;)

Placed my order online last night, and this morning I already had the UPS tracking numbers in my inbox. I was impressed. Hopefully the pads are as good as the service. :D

Yeah, never fails they squeal at the worst times. Was at the beach 2 weekends ago in traffic on the strip and my truck sounded like a 20 year old beater. I was almost embarrassed ...... until the light turned green and the truck made a different squeal. :burnout:

I would prefer to take care of it under warranty, I just don't have time to take it down to the dealership here (I'm in AL doing some training for work) and I don't want to have the CEL on all the time. Figure that if it's on and a real problem comes up, I won't know without constantly checking...

Hope I don't get caught in that fiasco of back and forth to the dealership. Did they just delete the code from the computer all together, or just just clear the fault?

Thanks. I think I am going to head out to O Riley's and just grab one and see what happens. My thinking is worse case scenario is that it will just keep flagging the light. I don't "think" I can blow up the engine by having a bad gas cap. :dontknow:

About 2 weeks ago I flagged a CEL code P0442. I researched it, checked the gas cap and reset the computer. Two days ago the CEL came on again with a P0455. Researched that and it says to check or replace the gas cap, then check the evap sys. My question is can I just replace the...

Say it ain't so! :) Didn't think those two were possible at the same time on these trucks. Anything significant or just smoother and a .01 mpg or so? :dontknow:
