When i ran it i had it up to operating temperature. Reved it also to create more pressure. And no drips where seen did that 2 times before the actual test drive. But if it still needs to be perfectly seal I may need to add a few more turns i did 3 turns on teflon tape at the fittings threads...

Update went for a test drive about 20 miles. Got back and checked. Fittings only had 2 small drop let's. I think it's fixed at this point I did add power steering stop leak.

I agree on the hoses it's happened more than once owning old cars. If the old hose wasn't leaking before once you disturb it or remove something and re install you will most likely get a leak due to age and or being dry and brittle. And it looks like this is part of the problem right now.

So this is the second time I re inspected it. Fittings seem to hold. After a second time engine running and purging the air bubbles left to right steering wheel lock to lock procedure. And it seems part of the problem was as mentioned before air bubbles still in the system. And maybe the hose...

Pretty sure it's left over air in the system because it does whine here and there so it's bubbling out and causing it to seep out the resorvior cap area.

It's a new replacement power steering pump unit gots 6 hours driving to and from Vegas.

Update so after switching to the jtsv power steering fittings. I have a lot less of a seep. It could use more teflton since I did the tape I will go ahead and remove it drain as much atf+4 and parts clean the threads and then use liquid teflon let dry and add atf+4 and do another test. But now...

Luckily I do less than 1 minute and It's a shell I have accumulated 50 cents off a gallon so it will come in handy for that 91 octane.

This is this night went to inspect and the seep is better than previous I did add a bit of teflon tape. I also have the liquid type. But I may run it may add a stop leak and see if it improves for now it is an improvement so far. Need to add gas i belive i have about 3 miles left i know smh.
