I have thought about that, but I think they are quite a bit heavier and dont give nearly as much power.

I too like the idea of a big block, however it isnt a V10. :rock: If I would put a viper engine I wouldn't get a crate one, I would get the parts out of a wrecked truck (rear end damage). It wouldn't be heavily modded (for now at least). How are the auto trannys in this? Problems?

Hello, I just registered here because I am looking to do a motor swap in a 1964 F100.

I am looking into putting a Viper v10 engine with the automatic tranny and I have a few questions. How many miles do these engine/ trannys run before a rebuild? How much would this package cost? Where would I get one? How big are these? Much bigger than a v8?
