I asked the wife if she would like a 3 spd manual in the X3 cos I need the gearbox. Didn't go down well. lol. I just think my truck needs a lower ratio diff 4.56 or 4.88 I dunno.

My old BMW X3 2l diesel has a 8spd. It is only 210hp. Be a lot lighter internals.

Don't know what happened to the first one, but it was quite a surprise to find an 05 engine in my truck. We all know what happened to mine. Good old piston top flake. I would guess it was the same issue. That won't happen again. I think really, that is their only problem.

This build is the 3rd engine my truck has had. Not good for 79k miles. Not what I would call reliable

Loving it. Hopefully the Hellcat motor is more reliable than the V10. I reckon it will be $250k here......eventually
