    1st 1/4 Mile

You didn't say what track you were at. If you were in the Grand Junction area and had that bad of a 60' your ET isn't too awfull bad. First time in my truck at the track was a 14.5 100% stock. Any mods on your truck? To get into the 12's will probably take another 100+ horsepower out on the...

    RIP Todd Smith "tsmith3"

I just found out today that Todd has passed on. I don't know too much on the details other than what the obit says. He was a good friend and first met him 22 years ago. And VTCOA brought us back together. Many of you may not know who he is. But I know there are plenty of us that...

    suspension knock

Try looking at the steering knuckle. Sounds like mine had the same noise and I could never figure out what it was either. On my 05 cummins I had it had a little bit of a different knock to it and I could barely feel it through the steering wheel. I found out it was the steering knuckle on...

I'm bummed - First Time at the Track

I think your times are pretty spot on. When I raced in Douglas I was getting 2.2 60' with street tires and I think 9.4 in the 1/8th. My best at altitude with drag radials was 2.1 60' and 9.0 for the 1/8th. I usually ran 14.3 to 14.6 in the 1/4

    short vs. long headers???

I put shorties on mine and like TNViper said not much bang for the buck. Plenty of bling though. The Bassani look crazy good in there. If I was to do it again I would probably go with long tubes.

    Working in Northeast PA

I never minded flying. But now that it is on a regular basis I am finding some things that I don't like. Makes for a long day when you are flying just about all day. I can't say for sure why that is. But I don't doubt that it is true. Problem is the billing has to go through so many people...

    Brake Bleeding Problems.......

I knew that would not cut the mustard for you because of the road racing you plan on doing. I officially got laid off 2 months after the Sacramento GTG. Then I got a job in North Dakota on the rigs. It isn't the same type of work I was doing before, but it pays the bills. The work is...

    Brake Bleeding Problems.......

Good to see you are still making progress on the truck. My brakes were the same way. They felt spongy and would not engage the abs system. I would guess you have air in the abs too. I never bothered to get mine fixed. I just made it a habit of pumping the pedal before i stopped.
