When I had the Gibsons on there was very little difference in sound. What I can tell you is that losing the rear cats will give you a very noticeable gain in hp and you will still pass the sniffer if you ever had to do it. The good thing is that your year truck just gets the OBD II test.

Some people here think Volants are no good. Personally I noticed a difference. People used to say that stock manifolds were the best header :dontknow: and just a drop in filter was good enough. :confused:

He's in California. He will could run into problems with the police and or CARB when getting it smogged. I think Volant is the only one California legal.

There is a dealer by me that has two Demons on the floor. MSRP 86k + 98k mark up. FU. Every srt on the lot has a mark up at least 20k.

Is the 06 500 lbs heavier?

I think Justin has a plug and play wiring harness for a electric fan setup. I think he even has electric fans and shrouds. But it's been awhile since I looked into it.

Never had a problem with mine. Also never heard of this issue. Out of all the vehicles that I have ever owned. Including 05 Hemi with a volant. The Volant is the only one that I could without a doubt say made a noticeable difference on the SRT. Not so much on the Hemi.

If you can get a Volant cheap then get it. I wouldn't spend the money for one at full price. But I did get for a little over hundred bucks. It made a noticeable difference. More than I though it would. If your in California it's CARB legal.
