Well, it was fun! The ending wasn't very fairy tale, but hey it's only paint and I thank GOD no one was killed! I'll post some pics of that little story in a minute.

This stang was in the pits and his throttle stuck wide open and he lost it. Came by my truck sideways slinging rocks and dirt all over my truck and chipping the paint all over the tailgate and bumper. Then hits a Chevy dually and comes to a stop after another 180. So fortunate no one was hurt. One older gentleman was ran over on his foot by the mustang but had no complaints. SRTCracka had just moved his truck from where the car came thru. So glad his wife and daughter weren't hurt. I knew I should have raced. GMAN had just left. It was great seeing and meeting everyone. And DBRIAN had a great run. We'll see if he posts the slip!

Very nice pictures! Are you at home and watching the football now?? I hope so! :D

Scary situation!

Glad no one was hurt!

Run away car is not a fun sight to see...

Your reaction is commendable...it is just paint.

Too bad, but could have been so much worse.

this pic shows the stangs skid marks across the road. Notice he came just behind my truck.

this pic shows his slicks were still spinning when he shut the car down.

and this pic shows where Casey's truck was and where it would have been plastered if he had not have moved!

Yeah that was crazy!! I didn't even know it had happened until after I made my run. I thought there was something wrong on the track. :dontknow: :dontknow: so glad no one was hurt!

I didn't run as good as I thought I would....no traction + crappy shiter + operator error = bad ET :p but it did give me some good ideas on where my weak points are, and where to start modding first. DBrian had some great runs today...his truck is set-up well.

We all had a great time, despite the wild mustang loose in the pits. It was great to meet everyone! Hope we can all get together again soon. Maybe Holt next time?! :dontknow:

Thanks, Casey, The truck was set up by Stick, its previous owner, all the credit to him, not to mention all the tips he gave me on how to race it. By the way, Stick, new best time today of 8.118. I nearly $hit when I saw the time slip.

That is an great time! That would be a 12.5 or so in the 1/4:burnout:

Holy S!@t. How long had we been gone? Glad nobody was hurt. My wife and I had a great time. After riding with me 2 passes she is hooked.

Greg, you are just as lucky as Casey! Yall probably weren't gone 5 or 10 minutes.
