'04 Block in a '06 truck?

Can a member share his knowledge and tell me if I can put a "04 RC block and crank in my 06 RC truck? I know the crank sensor location was changed but I don't know if there's a problem with that. Will my crank sensor wires reach the '04 location? What are the issues and answers? thanks, Mark

Youll need to change the crank sensor wiring, make sure your flywheel has the pickups on it for the crank trigger, and weld in knock sensor stands. Done it on 2 vipers and 1 truck, no problems.

found engine in AR.

I bought a 04 RC longblock minus intake, oil pan, and v covers yesterday. Super cool, exercising my elbow drinking beer today.
