This color combo is plain-straight awesomeness!!!! Does anyone on here have one of these rare 1 of 50 trucks????

A few guys did...don't remember who or if they are even still on here. They might have been casualties of one of the many internet wars over the years...;)

Did they run all 50 around the track at the same time? That would make for a kewl pic too :)

I am not sure if the 50 VCA blue trucks were taken to the track.

I seem to recall that some of the Official Pace Trucks had auto transmissions and were never sold to the public. In fact, I think they were eventually crushed if I remember correctly. I may be wrong, as my memory isn't what it used to be. Someone chime in here if you know the full story.:dontknow:

Okay,
I just hopped over to the NFFF (can't believe I did that, I haven't been there in years). And I found this quote from Bill Pemberton in 2004......FWIW

There are actually about 5-7 Blue/White trucks running around with automatic trannies being used for Pace Vehicles ,but they will probably eventually be crushed and are not in the production mix.

This color combo is SOO Cool!! I reminds me of the first GTS Viper back in 1996. I remember being on the Power Tour in Late May 1997 and seeing one in Denver for the 1st time. I was still a kid then. I asked the guy for a ride in it, because we ended up talking with him for a while. He made me go ask this pretty hot chick/lady(He was older than me by 15 years) if she would go for a ride with him. I did and she said yes, then he gave he a HELL OF A RIDE!!!! It was awesome. He dated that girl for like 2 years after that too. He was a computer programmer from Denver. Cant remember his name......wait yes I do it was Glenn. He was a member of the Original VCA. Cool dude.
