04 SRT10 crank trigger question

I am back about swapping to the auto trans in the 04. MSD has a pulley mounted crank trigger kit, but it is for an even fire engine[5 magnets for 10 cylinders]
Any chance I could use 2 plates and couple them 18' offset, for 10 magnets odd fire? Would one pickup sensor be able to read all 10 magnets with the 5-6mm offset?
This way we could just use the readily available QC flexplate without needing a special one built.
Open to suggestions?

Last time I talked to him, I needed to send him a flywheel for a sample so he could make one up. The price was going to be pretty high.

If you have one available that would be great!! Just to be sure, we are talking about a flexplate to use on the 04 Gen3 viper eng in the RC, correct? With crank trigger cutouts?
