05-06 RCs 4.56s

Not sure about the QC with auto,but that sounds like a good plan for the highway,not sure about the track.But,really,how much time do we spend at the track anyway ? Daily drivability makes more sense.

You just can't pay much attention to Nelson, way to much white lightnin in his younger days.:D:D:itsme::itsme:

hahahaha

had to give it up
too hard on the blood pressure
better for me anyway,in more ways than one :D

back to gears,due to QC's not having the six speed,it seems the 4.10's would be better on the highway :dontknow:

Still love you Nelson!!!:itsme::itsme:

Be sure you save your 4.56's...you will be putting them back in.

I doubt it, dont get me wrong they are a great gear for N/A RC's, but on a QC your through 1st and 2nd in no time and thats N/A.

After the Roe its been even faster through 1st and 2nd, not to mention how it runs out of gear on the highway.

Other problem is at the track, I run out of gear about 150-200ft before the trap and she wants to shift into o/d.

I think you will be very happy with 4.10's :rock:

correct me if im wrong but on my qc i put it in tow haul mode when at the strip which holds it to third gear and go all the way through the 1/4 before rev limit,:dontknow:

Yeah well that don't work out to well with the Roe my friend, I hit top of power band in 3rd way before I hit 1/4 mile mark, about 150-200 ft before, I have no choice but to shift into o/d.

:rock:

Exactly as I said earlier : the higher your horsepower/torque,the higher the gearing that you need for the track,especially 1/4 mile

Thats why im thinking the 4.10's will be a good fit, not only cause ill be hitting 1/4 mile mark right at peak tourque and hp band of 3rd, but it might help with 1st gear not spinning so much off the line.
