05 r/c trans question

I noticed a sound coming from trans ,not loud or anything but if I stand next to truck I hear it coming from trans .When i push in clutch i don't hear it ,trans shifts just fine with no problems ,clutch works just fine ,when in gear going down the road i don't hear anything different ,just if im sitting letting it idle and in neutral ,If I push in clutch and engage disk just a little bit it is gone :dontknow:

My truck does the same thing, I consider it normal manual gear box noise. The noise you are hearing is the gears rattling together when the clutch is engaged.

It gets amplified with an aluminum flywheel because the steel flywheel acts like a sound dampener.

cool thats all me right there then lol cuz i have an aluminum fly:elefant:wheel with my spec stage 3+
