06 automatics

Have any upgrades been done to these? From reading posts I see there were some problems with previous years re: clutches and bands. Anyone one have any probs with 06. Am now planning to ADD Roe SC ( low boost)
and was wondering. The installer Tator Dodge said it was ok. Just wanted to hear others 2 cents

if the tranny wasn't changed from 2005, then you can expect it to go. Mine's been rebuilt twice under 15,000 miles. and NO supercharger.

Yeah, I would add in a beefed up tranny to the budget. Its like on an RC........the stock clutch is gonna go, expect it.

you would have thought Dodge would have made changes from year to year to compensate instead of paying out on warranty claims

No I meant in general on unmodified trucks. It would have been more cost effective to add upgraded parts to compensate ratherr than pay out warranties..

Hey it is tough in NY to find anybody who knows alot about these trannys. Call "SK Speed" in farmingdale and they should know a place to go for an upgrade. I also know a guy in deer park that could help out but he doesn't specialized in heavy duty diesel transmissions...so don't know if he could help.
