I raced my buddy in his V, close several times but he won very time, both of us are stock, for now......:dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow:

Great run, but the newer ones is where you wouldn't stand a chance. I believe that one is the LS6 motor and around 350-360RWHP. The S/C LS9 would leave most all of us in the dust. Not sure if Roy has one of those or not. They may have also came with the 427 LS7 and that would be a loss as well. They are a bad ass cruiser.:D

Roy's got the LS9 with the lingenfelter package (630HP) good luck keeping up with that:laugh:

The CTS-V is the SC 556HP...

Yep, the older ones have the LS2 and LS6 motors in them.... :eek: The 2006 he raced had the LS2. They were rated at 400HP (same engine they put in the GTO).

.... And the 2009 and up CTS-V has the LSA engine (Not LS9). Same basic block, but very different in several ways (CAST pistons, lower compression, and a smaller S/C).

I was assuming it was a new Cad (09-10)...yeah, before 2009 400HP I believe..

Correct you are, forgot the LSA engine. IT does not share the Vette LS9!!

I'm not afraid...Roy has a supercharged Ram SRT-10 with over 630 RWHP and it runs 14's....so I'm not worried:D :burnout:
