06 engine in 04 SRT10

A friend of mine wants to install a 06 engine in a 04 RAM SRT10.
Will there be any problem ?
I know of knock sensors being the only difference but if he pcm does not ask for it, there should be no problem, should there ?

Emissions lines different. He can use 04 valve covers. Crank sensor reads from flywheel on 03/04 then off crank on 05/06 so may need to shorten the wire. You won't have wiring for knock sensors. Intakes are slightly different in vacuum nipple sizes. Otherwise should be gravy :rock:

I put a 05' engine in a 04' truck which would be the same thing your looking at. The ONLY thing I had to do was the wiring for the crank sensor. It took all of 5 minutes.
