I found a good deal local for a 06 front end. I want your opinions if i should do it to my truck. The daytona wasnt a option in 06 so my truck would be unique.

Here is my truck now so i guesa let me know if i should keep it original or go 06-08 front end

It would make it unique, everyone would think you had damage and changed it or its not the real deal. But you would know its real, would likely look pretty good

dont itll kill the collecting aspect of it...people that knows the trucks wouldnt buy it for fear of an accident

There's a couple of orange Daytonas in town, and I dislike them. I hate the huge wing, and their decals are dumb.

Your Daytona however looks great! I'd say if you want the look of the 06' go for it, that's all that really matters. The only potential issue could come later down the line if you sell the truck.

Yeah that the whole issue is that i would love to keep the original look that it came with and would be worth more yrs down the road.

The wing came off the first day. Being hispanic in texas and a big wing on a truck dont look right...lol

You could video or photograph the install with time/date stamps, that way you could prove to the private buyer that you did it for upgrade and not repair. A dealer wont care so much as long as the carfax is clear, and there is no bondo to be found with their metal thickness sensor tool.

Thats true but to be honest i really dont plan on selling it. Its fun driving a truck with the potential of running 11 sec all motor. But who knows

DO IT!!! Individuality is where its at! It doesn't really look like you're worried about keeping it original. Lookn sweet so far. GO FOR IT!!!!!

well i found this photochop and going off the photochop im not digging the big lights

My grill comes straight down like urs. That pic makes the grill look like its curling under creating more emphasis on the headlights. It looks like an 2006/2012 hybrid!

I started adding up the cost and i will have to come out of pocket a few hundred. Ill make my decision today cause i can also use the money i have now to finish the LX timing cover, water pump, alternator, and PS so i can put my 100mmTB and a plate for nitrous and AIM for the 10 sec pass
