Yesterday while traveling with the NAV on. Its the one with the 6 cd changer, it started giving me a false location (where it thought the truck was) almost 2 miles away from my actual location. I stopped in the dealership, after one of the technicians looked at it, his answer was to keep driving it and it will reset itself!!
Well I drove another 50 miles home on major highways and the unit told me that there were 7 satellites, so I should have got a good reading, but it was still way off, and today in my driveway it tells me the location is 5 miles from where I am. My question is should I disconnect and reconnect the battery, will that do any good, I've already ejected the disc and put it back in (no effect) or do I drive over to the dealership and book it in and get them to look after it. The truck has 3500 miles on it.
