06 QC lowered on x-metal kit

I would except for the fact that my lowering kit is sitting the the garage. Hope to get it installed in the next couple of weeks.

Here's my 06 qc lowered with X-Metal. We just put it on this past weekend when I got the hubby off the couch. :dancing:

Looks sweet.....how do you like the ride and how much time did it take?

Very kewl

Thanks.. the ride is about the same very smooth. As for how long it took well....the back was pretty easy to do just make sure you set the pinion angle. We didn't do that with my 05 ram (DJM kit not x-metal) and everytime you hit a big bump you thought the driveshaft was coming inside with you. Front was a learning experience I had 05 directions so we had to do it by trial and error. All in all it took about 6 to 8 hours taking our time to make sure everything was done right. I took it out for a ride and I love it. It handles great like a sports car. Boomers kit is worth every penny, I've seen and delt with others I don't care how cheap they are cheap is cheap, you get what you pay for.

Amen!!! There's only 1 kit you lower your SRT-10 with and it's X-Metal's!!

I will just say that I support this forum, but be careful how you call other kit's cheap, In Western Wa there is no other drop shop than Auto F/X they do all the work for most ALL THE LOCAL DEALERS and out of 9 lowered cars myself I can tell you these guys don't miss. Now that being said I support boomer and his efforts to support us. Rock On Bro!!!!!:burnout:

With F/X kits, I'll bet they are good kits being the only one around. If not they would not be open for long. Soooo I'm guessing your kit is cheaper than boomers? Your ride is still sick as hell. But I think in2thefyr has a good point. If something is cheap...... buyer beware.

Well actually it was about the same but there are alot of chrysler show rigs that come out of there and this is the kit they recommend. So if you think your'e smarter than Dodge or Chrysler By A Ford!!!!!!:D :burnout: :burnout: :burnout: :burnout: :burnout:

Yeah right. Why would I buy a ford? They are not Viper powered. I had a couple mustangs before, but it just doesn't compare to our trucks.

Hey guy's I didn't mean to offend. I was just talking about kits that I know of personally. The ones I dealt with did not even say anything about pinion angle or even give detailed directions with pictures. One kit I bought didn't even come with directions we had to read it off the internet. These people you spoke of I don't even know so I would never say anything bad about them. That's why I didn't say names everybody already knows who they are here. Please do not fight that's not what this thread was for. Thank you, Frances
