06 RC MAGNAFLOW Exhaust

Hey guys i just went to an exhaust shop and they wanted to charge me $300 to install a Magnaflow cat-back and JMB mid pipes !!! Now tomorrow im going to my friends shop so he can install it. Does any one have a diagram on how to install the 04-05 magnaflow on the 06 i would really appreciate it.

Dude I would just pay it. I paid $250 just to have my midpipes installed and the dude wasnt good at all. Took 3 trips back to get it to stop rattleing and leaking.

They are gonna have to weld in some hangers for the magnaflow..............so I would just pay get it done right, welded and sealed properly. Tone will be awesome!!

Hey bro,.. The magnaflow for the 06 only has to relocate a couple of the hangers to a new location. Takes about 5 mins to cut off with torch and put in the right place. The mids should also take about 5 mins at each location to remove, set the new ones then line it all up. Get it welded for sure so you never have any problems with it.

This part is important too... When they start, make sure they only hang the chrome tip portion first so you can adjust how far you want them to come passed the rear bumper. The tips say Magnaflow on them so you may just want to have them extend far enough passed the bumper to see it. When its done, it looks real nice. Heres a pic of mine

SO THE GUY INSTALLED EVERITHING AND WAS SHORT LIKE 2 FOOT... SO HE WELDED 2, 3" LIKE 2 FOOT LONG PIPES TO MY MID PIPES AND DONE.... HE CHARGED ME $150 THAT ALSO INCLUDED THE NEW NAHGERS:rock: :rock: I SAY GO TO A REPUTABLE SHOP AND TO PUT THEM ON

Thats a great price for what they did.. That sounds like a legit deal to me. I paid $100 for mine on the RC without mids, just the CB. What you do with the RC? Run straight pipes after the mids? :dontknow: No mufflers or stay with stock?

That is so tough looking... I am right with you... I would love to do that as well. Prob have to get a custom rear bumper cover. Does anyone make that?:dontknow:
