There are still a few new '05-'06's on dealer lots, the model was never a huge seller.

Wow, are you serious there are still new SRT-10 Rams on the lots? I would think people would be buying these up quicker than the news would spread about them being there. After all they are super rare and the price a dealer would put on a truck 2-3 model years old would be rather attactive to say the least.

secret source was the ceo of one of the big 3 theyre rushing to try and make something to compete with dodge. no bs here. however sectret sources have secret sources. you know how it works. i do however find it amusing how if ya get drunk enough with someone you terll them a lot of stufff you really shouldnt

The question is, who is going to take their current SRT Ram and make a GEN IV Ram SRT-10 with a salvaged Viper engine?

This is what i'm waiting for..... then i can replace my blown engine..

Dodge is gonna have one hell of a tough time making any Ram that could be more highly thought of than the Viper truck. Even if they followed the same formula Ford did with the lightning (little truck, big motor, supercharged, automatic..etc), that won't erase the fact that they opened Pandora's box by creating the Ram SRT-10.

How in the hell can you top a stock truck like that? I mean, it's still hard to believe they even went ahead and built them in the first place! Don't get me wrong, it's an awesome vehicle and I'm glad I own one..but auto manufacturers just don't make trucks like this...The Viper truck was the one exception!

The way these trucks are set up..500hp monster Viper engine, 6-speed, Hurst shifter, Dana rear end, 22x10 rims...is the sort of thing I used to dream about. Never in my wildest dreams would I have believed anyone would have made one!

I often wonder what was said in the conversation when the idea to create these trucks was first vocalized out loud..and by who. That would be something to hear.

Like I said, Dodge has got it's work cut out for them when it comes to building another SRT Ram. No Hemi's gonna do. Not unless it out-performs a Viper truck.
