1/4 Mile Moroso Truck Challenge 8/18/2007

[Rice Eater]

Aug 18th is the next scheduled truck challenge:rock: It will be a night race with gates probably opening aroun 5pm. Drivers need to be sure to bring a helmet, shoes and long pants- no tank tops either!

There may be a make up for the one that got rained out last weekend....stay tuned for that date.

FUK guys I goofed on my dates! I forgot I am taking my nephew to the monster truck jam on the 18th. I will NOT be able to make the 18th.......BUT the makeup on the 25th.....I will be there for that one for sure! I'll be in touch.

serioulsy though, cant do the 25th. count me out. hopefully the next one. At the rate this weather going there might not be one till hurricane season is over.

Hello everyone,

I would like to ask you all to visit http://www.floridasfastcars.com/index.php
We would like to use this forum as a primary base for the Moroso Truck Challenge.
Here are our thoughts and goals.

FFC is a general enthusiests website (not vehicle specific) with forums and feeds for all types of vehicles. The admin has created a special forum area for our truck challenge. We would like to use this forum along with the Mustang Challenge site http://themustangchallenge.com/CMS/ to make sure everyone is on the same page and up to date for all future events. This will also help us provide information in a timely manner because we will not need to visit and post as frequently on the 6 or 7 sites we currently monitor.

We also think this will help establish freindships with the other fellow racers owning different brands... ie Lightning, Srt10, ect, because ALL racers can communicate on a shared site.

The admin has also created vehicle specific forums for us... the Lightning, SRT10, ect and others can be added as required for general communicating. Consider it you own Florida forum. These are by no means intended to take place of the sites you use now, we are only trying to generate well run events, with good communication and some new friendships created along the way.

With the above purpose in mind, we have also created a "call out" section where you can challenge the other racers to a race in the test and tune classes after you have been eliminated from an event... keep it friendly lol.
We will have a few other benefits down the road, including updated series points in your avitars, ect... this is only the beginning.

I would also like to extend the same invitation to the new Mopar challenge. If you guys like, an area can be created for your series and vehicles as well.
