hehe, we did the 1/4 today at Zolder.... ( FLOOR and me) .... as far no times proclaimed... don't even know if they gonne do it... for my part a bad organisation.. to few people involveld... to many visitors...
but OK, we did it 4 times :D ... 13 sec's ? :D :D no, please give me circuit racing ... more to do then waiting,waiting, pull and finish.... Ok, it's a dicipline... :D :D :D :D

My shifting sucks ... don't know... many miles on the stock clutch or bad after my son raced Zolder with the truck..????

First pull i lost from FLOOR not getting in 2the !! :dontknow:

So i shifted at 5000 revs , got better, i tought... another pull i was just in front i suppose... strange, i must admit to practice more to keep FLOOR ahead with my Roe blown shifter....time we gain in each gear we loose shifting... ofcourse i have still the 4.11's.... great ratio to turn around.....

Don't know what's wrong... tought i was gonne beat him with a sec... no way... shifting go's difficult.. :( each gear is like a wall you have to push that lever in... perhaps i'm to much used to my daily driver BMW which shifts like butter.. shit

Your just too old:dontknow:

yep, maybe i'm to old... tought in first place it was the spinning in first but no... as far i could see i was holding upp FLOOR... no, shifting looses it...

No he is not! I'm in the 14's...he said he is in the 13's.

I am still the most powerful and quickest 14 second truck!

Has anyone actually hooked yet?:D

ME! ME! ME!

Oh that's only because the 6deg card is very mild:D
Waiting on a custom tune and pulley from PPJ:rock:

hehe, Barry's atmitting he lost agains a 'stock' grocery getter :D
You gotto love it :elefant:

True, a lot of waiting to get in, a lot of waiting to register, a lot of waiting on the track.

The sprints went fine, guess we can call it a tie; first I won (1/2 car?:dontknow: ), second was about the same, thirth he won.
Took him a while to get his shifting act together, I had some traction problems during take off (my sexy ass was dacing arround).

Overall, it was fun. Got pulled over by the marchalls only once for 'noise', 99 dba.:D . Can you imagine they call it noise, its music to my ears   :burnout:

norbert,
are you still on stock master/slave hyd cylinders? you need to upgrade to viper ones..... don't tell me you're still on the stock shifter too, b&m or x-metal is better..... i also upgraded my clutch/flywheel too....... all these things helped immensely !!! :)

yes, all is still stock , even my clutch ! ( 23 kmiles) except for the Xmetal GENIV shifter...

First pull i went to redline 6000 and couldn't get the bastard in
2the... second and third pull i shifted much earlier which go's easyer ... think around 5000 revs. And ofcourse to much wheel spin .... but must state that the Caltracs keep it rather straight on track !

Will change oil to ATF to try that route once.... For example , in the morning starting at my driveway i can't get 2the... :dontknow: i shift from 1 to 3 directly... only a mile further i can again take 2the normal....

Sounds like the master/slave issue...you have probably noted that the cylinder is made of plastic, which expands slightly under heavy load and that inhibits the shift from 1st to second and especially from 2nd to 3rd. The Viper cylinder is billet.

You will need a spacer when you make the change...talk to Justin at JMB he has all of what you need. Most of us that put our RC's on the track have made the change.

atf change will help some, but not as much as the viper master/slave change...... of course when you open it up, you might as well upgrade/replace the clutch too...:burnout:

Any proof of this?

Just do the math...

Personally, I am a mid to low 14er...

Would have no ideas what it would take to get into the 13's.

i would have done it already but been waiting till my clutch would fail.... and she's still fine  Perhaps i'm breaking a new record here in miles with stock clutch :dontknow: :dontknow: :D :D :D
