1/8th Mile track opens at Homestead Motor Speedway

Don't know if it's posted yet. But, for us Miami boys, Homestead motor speedway just opened an 1/8th mile track. No tree, no timing system yet. Just a Pink's style arm drop start, with a hoy chick doing the arm dropping.:rock:

Couldn't make it. Didn't get home until just after 5:00. I wouldn't have made it there until about 8:00

No, it is kind of cheesy. But, unfortunately thats all we have down here close by.

Depends... I have an 1/8th 10 min from the house...the 1/4 is 45 min. When I was running the 10, I got a jump on the season when it was still "too hot" to make the run to the 1/4 mile track...just to run "shitty times" due to the heat/humidity.
Thats when I would hit the 1/8th...work on the R/T... 60', clean shifts...work out the "bugs".
Then when it got cool out...hit the big track, and be ready to go:driver::burnout: :burnout: :burnout:

you can do a 60'at each light with one of those timing things. accelerometers.

The chick does look good...that my be one of the determining factors to drive down there....Homestead Speedway is about an hour ride for me.....
